Hi friends!! I’m currently working on a Spring Beauty Guide, which will hopefully be up in the next week or so! But for now, I wanted to share some recent skincare additions that I’ve been loving.
Before we get to the products, let’s chat about injections! A few months ago I had my first set of Dysport injections and we have to talk about this!! Just to give you the back story, for almost a year I have been wanting to try Botox (#almost30) but I was sooo nervous. I did some research and SO MANY people recommend Skin Pharm for the most natural results. They have an incredible reputation so I decided to finally go for it! And you guys it was such an amazing experience.
My Experience at Skin Pharm:
First off, Skin Pharm Dallas is one of the most beautiful offices I have ever walked into! Lol! My provider was Lauren, and she is amazing! She is super knowledgeable, experienced, and answered all my questions, which calmed all my nerved! After talking with Lauren about my skin concerns, she recommended Dysport injections. Dysport is basically a less concentrated version of Botox (you can about read more about the difference HERE) and holy moly, you guys. I am OBSESSED with the results. The biggest difference I noticed was in my eyebrows. They are more lifted and I feel like I look less tired, lol! But I also feel like I still have my natural expression so it wasn’t “too much” if that makes sense. If you live in the Dallas area, I highly recommend heading to Skin Pharm for a consultation!
Let’s get to the products! All my new skincare additions below:
Tula Brightening Skin Care Kit
Tula has been the base of my skincare routine for over 5 years now! (discount code is ALEXSTOUT for 15% off) Products have never failed me, truly one of the best skincare brands. Their Vitamin C brightening kit is a new addition for me though and I’ve seen such great results already. These two products have really helped to brighten my skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots.
Tula Nourishing & Exfoliating Kit
This changed my skin after one shower! The exfoliator buffs away dry skin and then the moisturizer hydrates and repairs – leaving your skin so soft you have to try it to believe it! It sold out like THAT when it was released a few months ago, but it’s finally back in stock!! Plus it smells AMAZING. The bundle of two products are on sale, plus you can use code ALEXSTOUT for an additional 15% off!
Skin Pharm Clarifying pads
When I went to Skin Pharm in Dallas, these were recommended to me by my provider, Lauren! After telling her about my skincare concerns, she recommended using these clarifying pads twice a day to help with blackheads and decreasing pore size- and they really do work you guys!! In a few weeks, I noticed a huge difference, especially in my T-zone area.
Skin Pharm Retinol Drops
My new favorite retinol! Many retinol products can be harsh and dry out your skin but the Skin Pharm Night Watch is super gentle. The consistency is a lightweight oil that works to reduce fine lines and pore size, without peeling or drying! It’s non-irritating, so if you have sensitive skin, this is great retinol to try!
Elemis Absolute Eye Serum
My new everyday eye serum. I don’t know what it is, but 9 out of 10 eye creams cause my skin to break out in a rash. So when I find one that doesn’t irritate my skin (and works) I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot. It helps reduce puffiness and fine lines while leaving the under-eye area hydrated and moisturized. Using my ring finger, I pat a small amount underneath both of my eyes in the AM/PM.
Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules
Elemis products are nothing new around here, so when I saw these skin capsules I had to order them! The pink morning capsule contains Rose Absolute which works to hydrate and softens the skin and the green capsule is intended for evening use and works to repair and protect your skin while you sleep. These also help brighten your skin, tighten your pores, exfoliate and hydrate!
MAC Lip Conditioner
A few weeks ago I stumbled across this randomly in the airport and what a find you guys!! I had a few extra minutes to kill before my flight so I went into the MAC store and picked up this $18 lip conditioner and it is UNREAL. It has completely healed my chapped lips and feels like silk when you apply it (aka not sticky).I wear it alone and under lipstick every day!
I’ll share more on stories throughout the week too!!
